now i know what it means when somebody says he or she is either alone or lonely. don't be mistaken because this two words that sounds similar, actually holds each a different meaning. i happen to know that the dictionary refer to both as the same meaning. however...

to realise the difference, you have to be able to have feel both of them at least once.

being alone is without any company. no one is around you. this, you are able to choose. sometimes, we just want to be alone. like, i enjoy being alone most of the time.

on the other hand, loneliness is something that almost all of us dread. it's a feeling of unhappiness when you know there's no one. you're there on your own. i guess, maybe some would enjoy being lonely.

i thought i would enjoy being lonely but i was wrong. i felt as if i was cast aside and i was drifting away.

i was falling apart.

the only remedy, fight against loneliness.

perhaps, i'm better off being alone rather than be with loneliness.
