doubt should be the eighth deadly sin.

doubt is to be undecided or skeptical, a lack of certainty that often leads to irresolution, a lack of trust, The condition of being unsettled or unresolved.

a point about which one is uncertain or skeptical.

the 7 deadly sins are;

1. pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. it has been called the sin from which all others arise. pride is also known as vanity.

2. envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

3. gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

4. lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

5. anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. it is also known as wrath.

6. greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. it is also called covetousness.

7. sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

doubt could jolly well be deadly sin number 8.

the ability to be unsure of oneself or other. when in doubt, you are actually doing a sin. just like when you are encountering with any of the other 7 deadly sins.
